Dr. Keith Moore's Career Bio
Dr. Keith Moore graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he authored "Resident Handbook / Survival Guide During Residency". While in medical school, Dr. Moore volunteered at Kansas City Free Health Clinic and was the recipient of the Hedgepath Medical School Scholarship. He also performed a clinical rotation at the Bristol Royal Infirmary in Bristol, England. After medical school, Dr. Moore did research in the field of microvascular surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
Prior to dedicating himself full time to the treatment of venous disorders, Dr. Moore practiced general surgery for 20 years. Over the years he developed a keen interest in phlebology (vein medicine and surgery) and has been performing vein procedures since 2012. Since joining VEINatlanta in 2016, Dr. Moore dedicates his skills full time to the diagnosis and treatment of venous and lymphatic disorders.
Dr. Moore is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Phlebology, the Surgical Laparoscopic Society and National Medical Association. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
